Overview tab

The first thing you see when you open an event, and the only tab you need while it is actually running. It answers one question: is this working right now?

The status chip

Next to the event name. Draft means nothing is live yet and the join link does nothing. Live means guests can scan and shoot. Paused is a hold inside live, not an error. Ended means shooting is closed for good.

The counters

Three, or four if you are approving photos before guests see them.

Waiting for you. Only there when approval is on, or when photos are still waiting after you switched it off. It goes straight to the queue in the Review tab. These photos are already in your Drive; the number is about what your guests can see, not about what you have.
Guests joined. Everyone who has ever scanned in. It does not go down when people leave.
Developed to your Drive. Photos that have finished the trip from a guest's phone into your folder. This is the number that matters; it is the one that represents photos you actually have.
Needs review. Photos the screening held back, waiting on you. Covered in the Review tab.

Under them is the pool meter: how much of the event's photo capacity has been used. When it gets close to full, top it up rather than waiting for guests to hit a wall.

Events with video get a second meter for clips, counted separately: clips never draw from the photo pool, and the pool never limits clips.

The QR code

The join link, a Download QR button and a Print poster button. This is the same code that was emailed to you when you launched. See the QR code for what to do with it.

Actions

Give all guests +5 shots. Adds five to every guest who has already joined, on top of whatever they have left. It comes out of the event pool, so watch the meter. It stays greyed out until at least one guest has joined, because there is nobody to give film to yet.
Open Drive folder. Straight to the folder for this event.
Pause shooting. Holds new shots without ending anything, and it is reversible. Useful for speeches, the ceremony, or any moment you would rather nobody was pointing a phone. Resuming reopens every guest camera by itself: nobody has to rescan.
End event. Stops all shooting permanently. See ending an event before you press it.
