About

Papped is the disposable camera for events.

Papped is a disposable camera for events that runs in the phone browser. Guests scan one QR code, take a limited roll of photos and short video clips, and every screened photo lands in the organizer's own Google Drive while the event is still going. No app, no login, one payment per event.

Why we built it

After any event, the best photos are the candid ones other guests took, and they almost never reach you. The only photos that reliably show up are the official ones, weeks later. Every tool we tried either made guests download an app or kept their photos on its own servers. So we built the one we wanted.

Every guest gets a roll. Every photo is screened before it appears. The shared gallery fills up live, and the originals land in the organizer's own Google Drive, never kept by us. Free for small events, built for weddings, parties and company events.

Who builds it

Papped was founded in India in 2026 by two builders, nights and weekends, and launched on Product Hunt and Peerlist in September 2026.

  • Depika Gupta

What we do not do

  • We do not keep your photos. They pass through us into your Drive. The one exception is a flagged photo held encrypted for at most 48 hours while you review it.
  • We do not make guests install anything or create an account. The QR code opens a camera in the browser.
  • We do not measure guests. Analytics run on the marketing site and the organizer app, never on the camera or the gallery.
